Description

The Plustek SecureScan X-mini is a powerful identification reader that enables seamless coverage of machine-readable zones (MRZ). The full-page scanner produces high-resolution, pin-sharp and distortion-free images of ID cards and passports, which conform to the ICAO 9303 standards. The complementary application has built-in data recognition that detects data from MRZ and extracts the important information into the SecureScan database. The SecureScan X-Mini saves time and prevents typos and keystrokes that can easily occur when data is entered manually. From hotel check-in to bank account application to car rental, the SecureScan X-Mini simplifies and speeds up reading, recording and processing of ID documents.
