Description
In 2017, Arducam introduced USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 camera shields. They are another universal camera platform, which is connected via USB. They support higher resolutions and faster frame rates than SPI cameras. They have also extended the supported camera options, especially global shutter camera for single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi. The Arducam Comprehensive SDK library enables you to work on PC and ARM processors, Windows, Linux operating systems, and Robot Operating System (ROS). They can be used for image sensors/optical analysis, image processing cameras, microscope/telescope USB cameras and more.
