Description

The LINDY 150m Cat.6 HDMI® 4K60, IR, RS232 & Audio HDBaseT KVM Receiver is part of a powerful, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cables.

Combining this receiver with a compatible HDBaseT wall plate transmitter such as LINDY no. 38387 and 38388 ensures reliable transmission over distances up to 150m.

The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using a high-quality Cat.6 or higher U/UTP or F/UTP cable:

Long Range Mode (LRM)
150m:3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit

It supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD for playback of videos in stunning clarity. The additional support of HDR (High Dynamic Range) enables the display of contents with improved brightness, higher black and white contrasts and a much larger color scale. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage solutions in retail stores, impressive displays at events, or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lecture halls.

The PoC-functionality (Power over Cable) with on/off-switch offers additional flexibility. Thus, the power supply together with the data via a Cat.6 network cable can take place in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and the receiver, so that only one single power supply on one side of the installation is required.

This Extender supports USB 2.0 devices such as mouse, keyboard and other peripherals that can be connected to the receiver to control a source device such as a PC or laptop or to transfer data. With bi-directional IR ports on both sides of the unit, the source device can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side.

In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw-in DC socket, which offers a safer and more reliable connection - perfect for professional installations, in which accidental interruptions may represent a big problem.

HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for high-quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control over long distances using cost-effective Cat.6 or higher cable.
