Specially designed for use in the low-ohm range, in order to ensure minimum temperature coefficients and independence of the resistance value from the soldering quality. The design is largely compatible with modern power transistors. A central mounting hole is used to mount the resistor on a heat sink to optimize heat transfer over the large base plate.
