Description
Temperature relay Type TR640IP monitors up to 6 sensors at the same time on up to 4 limit values. Thus different sensor types, for example PTC thermistor and Pt 100 can be attached and evaluated. Applications include monitoring motors, generators or transformers. In addition, the device is suitable for use as a 2- or 3-point controller with additional alarms for over/under temperature and as a differential temperature monitor. Numerous preset programs simplify the start-up, e.g. transformer protection with/without monitoring of the core temperature and with/without controlling a fan. If the evaluation "2 OFF x" is activated with several connected sensors, an alarm is only triggered when the limit value in 2 sensors is exceeded. This prevents false alarms from being triggered due to a fault in a sensor. The operation takes place comfortably on the device or with the in-built web-server via Ethernet.
