Description

The CT6 is the latest addition to the Tektronix portfolio of high frequency current sensors. It is designed to meet the requirements of high-speed circuit design and testing applications that require ultra-high bandwidth, low inductance, and an extremely small form factor. The CT6 offers a bandwidth of up to 2 GHz when used with high bandwidth oscilloscopes such as the TDS694C, TDS794D and TDS7000 series oscilloscopes from Tektronix or with other compatible 50 Ω input meters. The low inductance (3 nH) ensures that the load effect of the CT6 on the circuit to be tested is negligible, WAS is particularly important for today's low-amplitude high-speed circuit designs, such as read/write pre-amplifiers for hard disk drives. The probe is a closed circuit that can hold uninsulated wires up to a size of 20 gauge. This product is exempt from CE marking due to its 30 V voltage limit.
