The LC/APC FOC field plugs are used for connecting glass fiber cables, for repairs in case of service in different network levels. They make the manual polishing of plug-end surfaces or the splicing on site completely unnecessary. The mechanical splice technology ensures precise fiber alignment and provides an immediate end with low loss for optical single-mode fibers. The attained attenuation does not exceed 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks where a UPC connector is required. It is suitable for the optical cabling in the primary, secondary and tertiary cabling as well as for use in FTTx networks.
