Description

Turn your ¼ inch bit and holder into your perfect torque tool. The torque value is preset in the adapter and can be clamped between each commercially available holding tool and a bit. The clicking sound indicates when the torque is reached. The adapter cannot be overtwisted. When the screw is loosened, the torque is not released (due to the locked core shaft). This means that an additional loosening tool is not required (30% higher torque when loosening). The adapter is mainly suitable for the manual operation. In connection with electric tools, we recommend a max. Speed of 100 rpm, with minimum click repetition.

Characteristics

These torque adapters are often used as a complete solution for working on electronic devices, in quick-change systems, robot stations, air and space travel, medical technology or simply at any workbench where the precise torque is needed.

Information

The adapters are tested according to DIN EN ISO 6789 (manually operated torque-screwing tools) and have a tolerance of ± 10% for at least 20,000 clicks. The torque value should be checked regularly by the user using a torque gauge. The adapter works through the return protection of the ratchet, the torque in the socket sleeve. The patented system also comprises a hollow shaft and a damping cylinder. The core shaft is able to move the mobile ratchet. The damping cylinder has a slot to allow the spacer sleeve to slide on the core shaft. If the applied torque exceeds the preset torque, the core shaft becomes inactive. This means that when the torque requirement is reached, the continuous voltage is no longer increased, not even on the bolt to be tightened.
