The Homematic IP temperature and humidity sensor with display is a part of the Homematic IP Smart home system and reliably determines the room temperature and humidity. The user can select freely, whether the display should show the nominal, the actual temperature or alternatively the air humidity alternating with the actual temperature. The sensor unit also precisely regulates the room temperature in connection with one or more Homematic IP radiator thermostats or Homematic IP floor heating actuators. Thanks to highly efficient wireless transmission and battery supply, the sensor is immediately ready to use and can be placed almost anywhere. The 55 frame size allows mounting in single and multiple frames by other manufacturers. The Homematic IP temperature and humidity sensor with display can be operated optionally with the access Point together with the Homematic IP APP, with the central CCU3 as well as with many partner solutions.
The temperature and humidity sensor takes over the intelligent and time-controlled regulation of the room temperature in the Smart HOME. Each room can control multiple radiator thermostats or floor heating circuits via the Homematic IP APP. For an up-to-date overview, temperature and humidity are always shown on the illuminated LCD display.
INTELLIGENT CONTROL
Individual temperature processes can be easily created via APP - with up to 3 adjustable heating profiles and 13 changes per day. This means that the temperature is fully automated and only heated when energy is needed.
COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE AT ANY TIME
The room temperature is controlled according to the user's individual needs: Simply via APP, whether at home or while traveling, or very comfortably via voice control (via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant).
THE TEMPERATURE IS ALWAYS IN VIEW
This intelligent thermostat measures the temperature and humidity and continuously sends this information to the thermostatic radiator valves in the room and to the Homematic IP APP. Thus the actual temperature and humidity can be seen not only on the display, but also at any time via the APP.
EASY TO RETROFIT
Easy installation without cabling thanks to battery mode and radio communication. This allows the thermostat to be placed anywhere in the room to measure the room temperature at the right place. In combination with the thermostat and a switching actuator, conventional electric heaters can also be easily retrofitted for a smart two-point control.
HIGH FLEXIBILITY THROUGH MODULAR DESIGN
Due to the flexibly combinable design, the thermostat can be mounted at almost any mounting position:
Adhesive or screw mounting in the provided mounting frame with enclosed mounting material
Compatible with existing switch series (with 55 series frames) from the most common manufacturers
Installation on a free flush-mounted socket with the optimized mounting plate
As an alternative to battery operation, the thermostat can also be supplied with 230 V via the Homematic IP power adapter for branded switches (HmIP-BPS-2).
