The Tinkerforge workbench is exactly the right thing for all those who like to experiment or want to present their superstructures vividly.
The Tinkerforge workbench is a plastic desk case with a 240 x 140 mm front panel. The front panel is provided with a grid of 3 mm holes which are set at a distance of 5 mm from each other. On this grid all Tinkerforge modules, but also other printed circuit boards or other own hardware assemblies can be mounted. Cables can be led unobtrusively through slots and large recesses to the underside. Thus, despite wild wiring, superstructures are always tidy and tidy. In the middle of the front panel we have created space to mount a stack of bricks or a Raspberry Pi® (this does not have a 5 mm compatible grid). If a Raspberry Pi® is attached, up to four bricks can be attached to the rear of the front panel "inside the case". However, bricks can also be screwed on at other points at any time. We have drilled further holes in the front and rear centre brace. Own constructions can also be attached to these: For example our HDMI™ display with a simple construction of maker beams. If there is no fixing possibility somewhere, you can simply drill further holes into the plastic housing.
