Nevertheless, this Mini-PC is bursting with performance and features. It supports the sixth generation of Intel Core processors with the socket LGA1151. Configure a powerful workstation with the latest Skylake processor, dual-slot PCI Express graphics card, M.2 SSD, two 6TB RAID hard drives, and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and Blu-ray drive. An inexpensive component variant without a PCIe graphics card is also possible, since Intel's Skylake processors already offer an amazing, integrated CPU and graphics performance and work very efficiently.
The R6 case design: discreetly stylish and modern
R6 is the name of the case design for the upper performance class of Shuttle XPC cubes. In this case a successful combination of style, integration and aesthetics is realized. The use of aluminium for the housing parts makes it light and stable. The brushed surface underlines the value of the device. The drive bays and media ports are elegantly concealed by cover flaps when not in use.
Small dimensions and easy to install
Shuttle's XPC cubes in cube format offer the performance of traditional desktop PCs at only one-third the volume. The required power and data cables for the drives are already available in a suitable length, so that the installation can be carried out quickly and easily with the help of the Quick Start Guide - install, connect, ready.
What does "barebone" actually mean?
The Shuttle XPC cube Barebone SH170R6 consists of a stylish housing with pre-assembled mainboard, power supply and cables. Despite its small dimensions, it offers excellent connectivity, functionality and performance. In order to obtain a complete PC system, only a few standard components have to be installed according to your own requirements: Processor, memory, mass storage and optional an additional graphics card.
Supports 4K Ultra HD at 60 Hz
The Shuttle XPC cube Barebone SH170R6 supports 4K displays with 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution (2160p) via the DisplayPort outputs. As the successor to the Full HD standard, Ultra HD offers four times the resolution and a significantly larger color space and color resolution. For a smooth playback of 4K videos (2160p) at least one Intel® Core™ i3 processor and dual-channel memory (2 or 4 modules) is required.
