Description

Increased hardness and strength

Spectrum PET-G Carbon is a modified PET-G filament with an addition of carbon fibers, which ensures a significant increase in rigidity, hardness and tensile strength, while the low shrinkage and very good adhesion on the working surface, which are characteristic of pure PLA, are retained. The ten percent addition of carbon fibers enables a matt surface of the printed parts to be achieved, while WAS significantly increases the aesthetic value of the printed parts.

Area of application
Manufacture of components that require high strength and hardness with simultaneous dimensional stability
Manufacture of spacers that are exposed to static pressure
Manufacture of decorative parts (enhanced aesthetic quality)
Exterior elements of the design that highlight the product design

Information

Note: Due to the high carbon fiber content, it is recommended to use nozzles with a diameter greater than the standard diameter of 0.4 mm. In addition, the presence of carbon fibers can lead to the degradation of standard brass nozzles. Therefore, hardened steel or ruby nozzles are recommended for the long-term use of Spectrum Carbon PET-G.
