Filament Spectrum Wood - 3D printing in natural wood
Filament Spectrum WOOD is a 3D printing material based on pure PLA mixed with natural wood particles. Spectrum WOOD is a 100% organic and biodegradable product. In addition to the optical aspect of wood, the elements made of this material are characterized by a panel-like structure.
The material has a unique property: Because of its natural wood content it not only looks like wood, but also feels like real wood. Finished printouts can be painted and processed mechanically. Another characteristic is the specific smell of wood, which occurs during the printing process.
Since the product contains natural wood, each batch can vary slightly in color, as in nature.
Uses:
- Pressure of elements which ensure good insulation and a very high moisture resistance
- Education projects
- Promotional material
- Decorative art.
- Interior design
The properties presented attract the interest of companies involved in decorations of all kinds and the production of figures of all kinds, but also with the use of modern construction materials which combine the advantages of plastics and materials of natural origin.
