Description

Spectrum GreyHT filament features a rough surface. The surface irregularity and the matt appearance effectively reduce the visibility of the layers and significantly increase the aesthetic value of the printed models.

High durability in production applications

PLA remains unchanged among users of FDM technology due to its extraordinarily simple printability. A problematic feature of conventional PLA-based filaments is their relatively low heat resistance, which often reaches only 50-60°C for non-crystallized printing, WAS significantly limits their functional use.

As a result of several months of implementation testing, Spectrum Filaments has developed the new Spectrum GreenyHT filament of a high-performance biopolymer with a softening temperature (VICAT) of up to 100°C and a heat resistance (HDT B) of up to 90°C. In addition to improving the thermal properties, it was also important not to deviate from the original mechanical properties of the plastic. For this reason, Spectrum GreenyHT does not contain plasticizers. It also significantly outperforms classic PLA grades in terms of rigidity and hardness.

Despite the modifications used, Spectrum GreenyHT remains fully biodegradable and compostable under industrial conditions according to EN 13432. Biobase comes from non-GM sources (GMO-free). The material also meets the conditions for contact with food (see the "Food contact" section of the material's technical leaflet for more information).

Spectrum GreenyHT is a filament for users who want to print easily, but expect enhanced functionality in terms of heat resistance, high rigidity and a matt, rough finish.

Application:
- Production of functional prototypes for presentation purposes
- Prototyping in industrial design and 3D graphics
- Use in modeling and art.
