Description

Detectable cable ties are often used to easily detect contamination from broken cable ties with a detection device. They are therefore very well suited for use in the food, pharmaceutical, animal feed and chemical industries. Detectable cable ties consist of a material mix of polyamide 6.6 and the highest possible concentration of uniformly distributed metal pigments, making even the smallest part of such cable ties detectable. In addition, detectable cable ties are characterized by their blue color and thus enable an easy visual detection. These detectable cable ties are available in 5 different lengths and resistant to temperatures of up to +85 °C.

Characteristics

Polyamide is a hygroscopic plastic
This means that the material absorbs water, but can also release it again
For optimum cable tie processing, it is important that the material is in a balanced state with a water content of approx. 2.5%
Always store the cable ties in the closed plastic bag
After opening, you should process the Binder quickly
Heat (from +50 °C) and cold (from -3 °C) lead to a hardening of the cable ties (water content is lost)
Result: Tongue cracks - head breaks, cable ties breaks
After processing and tightening the cable ties there are no these problems
The ideal storage conditions are +23 °C and 50% relative humidity
Storage period should not exceed 12 months, loss of moisture
Always store only so much cable ties at work that can be processed within 8 hours
If the temperature is minus, it should not remain in the cold for overnight periods
If the cable ties are stored overnight or longer in the bag at minus points, they must be stored for at least once more for storage. 24 hours at room temperature

Tolerance range for water content is 2.5% - 4.5%, so the required minimum Tensile strength
Clips are made of impact-resistant polyamide and therefore do not depend on the water content
