Description

The M3 is an Edge Hub that focuses on direct local control and automation. Once integrated into your network, it takes precedence over existing Aqara hubs and moves automation between them to local operations

The 360°-IR blaster not only sends commands, but also detects the conventional remote control and provides exact status updates. It also connects IR air conditioners to mats, so that it can function as an AC thermostat in connection with a Aqara climate sensor.

The M3 offers both wired and wireless solutions and has dual band WLAN (2,4-5 GHz) with extended WPA2 security and a Power over Ethernet connection (PoE). The additional USB-C port enables the connection of mini-UPS and power banks and thus provides unprecedented stability.

The M3 comes with a mount, screws and a sticker for simple placement on flat surfaces, or fixing on walls or ceilings. After switching on the MagicPair technology provides an automatic detection by the Aqara HOME APP.

The M3 is characterized by the fact that it does not have a microphone or a camera, which eliminates important data protection concerns. It has a local storage with end-to-end encryption, so that private data remains confidential. In addition, it possesses 8 GB eMMC-memory for the secure data processing.
