This HUB possesses 16 USB 3.0 plug with Plug-&-Play function and a USB-standard charging function – the HUB automatically detects, whether a device to be charged via USB is connected. The available USB 3.0 connector allows you to charge up to 16 devices at once. The USB 3.0 interface is particularly effective for data transfers via USB 3.0 from memory cards and flash storage media, because their high data transfer rate is thereby most usable. The packing is an external power supply, which provides for a stable charging via the USB-connections and for good performance of the hub, whereby a charging power of up to 10 W per port is ensured.
The HUB does not need a driver installation. You can connect it via a USB cable to the PC and it can start immediately. To protect your computer in the event of a short-circuit in the peripheral devices, a surge protection is built in. The HUB is backward compatible with USB 2.0 / 1.1.
The HUB installation is automatically carried over by the operating system and requires no drivers. Connect the plug of the power supply to the HUB and plug the dfas power supply into a 230-volt power outlet. Then insert the HUB with the help of the USB cable into a free USB port (standard type USB 3.0, 2.0 or 1.1) of your notebook/PC and follow the instructions on the screen. The HUB is installed and displayed in the device management as "General USB Hub" and "General USB SuperSpeed Hub".
