Perform more accurate, shunt-based dynamic current measurements with the TICP series current probes. High bandwidth, flexible measurement ranges, complete galvanic isolation and extremely low noise make it possible for you to go beyond traditional limits – Ideal for low noise measurements on current shunts in potential-free sections of circuits.

A milestone in oscilloscope measurement
In conjunction with high-performance shunts or CVRs, TICP current probes enable measurements of DC current up to several hundred MHz. Choose from three models that fit your application and budget.

The complete HF insulation between the probe tip and oscilloscope prevents ground loops and significantly reduces common operating noise.

Low attenuation, 50 Ω input impedance and shielded tips ensure low noise levels.

Three bandwidths: 250 MHz, 500 MHz, 1 GHz
Up to 90 dB CMRR at 1 MHz

Gain new insights into SiC and GaN power converters
Shunt probes can provide a greater bandwidth than clamp-on probes for measuring rapidly changing currents in switching devices with a wide bandwidth gap. IsoVu insulation eliminates ground loops, enables high-voltage circuit measurements, and provides extremely high common-mode suppression. This makes TICP probes Ideal suitable for current measurements in shunts and CVRs on high side SiC and GaN switch FETs.

Accurate measurement of low-level dynamic currents can be critical to optimizing power management in IoT and mobile devices. With TICP probes and shunts, you can use your oscilloscope to monitor power consumption during certain system activities and transitions from sleep to active state in conjunction with memory access and I/O.

Seamless integration with MSO 4, 5, and 6 series oscilloscopes
MSO 4, 5, and 6 series oscilloscopes are known for their advanced performance analysis capabilities. IsoVu current probes are designed to work seamlessly with these devices. The TekVPITM probe interface supplies the probe with current and automatically detects the probe and tip, so that you can adjust the probe parameters over the oscilloscope's user interface. This also allows automation of testing using the oscilloscope programming commands.
