The Bell 206 Jet Ranger is a light multi-purpose helicopter of the US-American company Bell Helicopter and is one of the most famous helicopter models worldwide. Originally developed in the 1960s for military purposes, the civilian version also quickly found widespread use.

Thanks to the integrated six-axis gyroscope in combination with a barometer and a ground sensor, the helicopter offers an exceptionally stable and easy control, which WAS makes it especially beginner-friendly. The automatic landing function at the push of a button also facilitates the entry into the world of model flight.
The start is carried out by simultaneously moving the two control sticks of the remote control into the bottom outer corner, whereby the brushless motors are unlocked and activated. Then the model can be brought to the desired flying height via the throttle/pitch lever, where it hovers stably thanks to the precise sensor system. In-built LED-headlight on the front as well as a position lamp on the rear provide for a clear detection of the flight position, even in bad light conditions. A status-LED on the upper side informs the pilot about the current flight condition at all times. In addition, the soil sensor can be deactivated via remote control, and the maximum control deflections of the servos can be adjusted individually.
For advanced pilots, the model offers the option of inverted flight, which can be activated via a button on the remote control. However, this function is only available from a safety height of at least five meters and should only be used by experienced pilots.
