The intelligent IVT charging booster serves for charging lead-acid, lead-gel, AGM and lithium second batteries while driving in vehicles with 12 V systems.
The versatile charging booster has two charging levels
In 30 A mode, the second battery can be charged with up to 30 A with the device.
In the 10 A-Caravan mode the charging booster allows batteries in a caravan or trailer to be recharged via the plug coupling. In this mode, the charging current is limited to a maximum of 10 A.
The intelligent IVT loader booster is a synchronized ascending/descending converter, which compensates the fluctuating alternator voltage. As soon as an alternator signal is pending at the charging booster (D+), it goes into operation automatically. The connected second battery is charged independent of the alternator voltage. It switches to trickle charge function automatically and depending on the power.
The 'Car' charger booster set contains all materials for the electrical connection of the booster to the batteries in 30 A charging mode.
Note: Additional loads should be connected only to the second battery.
Using a booster, high-performance consumers can be operated on the second battery even with the engine running.
A safe starting, even after longer shelf life (without charging), remains ensured.
The service life of both batteries (starter battery and on-board battery) is extended considerably by means of an optimally charged and maintained second battery.
When the nominal capacity is reached, the booster switches to trickle charge mode.
