    Overview

Convenient booster with 2 to 5 A output current
    Nominal sizes Z to II.
    Systems with symmetrical track voltage
Suitable for use with ABC braking distance
Data formats: DCC, MM, mfx (control commands only, no mfx feedback)
RailCom feedback format (RailCom-Cutout can be switched off)

    Description

DCC-conforming booster interface (3-pin / "CDE") for connection to the DCC-conforming booster interface of a central unit or the track output of a central unit. Regulated Multi-protocol booster for use with MM, DCC or Central-mfx. For systems with feedback about Railcom and with symmetrical track voltage. Adjustable short conclusion sensitivity and rail voltage (10-20 V in 1 V steps). The RailCom Cutout of the boosters can be switched on/off. Internal short-circuit can also be switched off. Max. Track voltage 18 V; 5 A (controlled), setting to 12 to 24 V (regulated) is possible. 12 -18 V supply voltage (depending) on the set track voltage.

    Electrical properties:
Power supply: AC transformer (12–20 V) or DC power supply (12–26 V)
    Maximum output current: 2.0 to 5.0 A, adjustable in 1 A steps
Output voltage 10 to 24 volts Digital voltage (regulated), adjustable in 1 V steps
    Output signal: Symmetric

LED on the front of the booster to indicate the operating states or problems that have occurred:
    Ready status
    Short-circuit at the track output
Booster via a switch command switched off
Booster switched off after triggering of the watchdog
Booster switched off after exceeding the maximum permissible temperature
Missing signal from the central unit
    Start programming

    Safety devices:
Short-circuit shutdown: Internal short-circuit shutdown or short-circuit feedback to the digital control unit via CDE booster interface; automatic restart after a short-circuit; short-circuit warning to the PC control
    Switches off when overheating
    Watchdog function in PC-controlled systems

Configuration via main track programming (POM) or (with small restrictions) by setting short-circuit plugs (jumpers):
    Track voltage 10 – 24 V, adjustable in 1 V steps
Restart according to a short circuit: 4 – 10 sec., can be set in 1 sec. steps
Max. Track current (switch-off current in case of short circuit): 2 – 5 A, adjustable in 1 A-steps
    RailCom: Active or inactive
Switch-off with DCC switch-over command: Active or inactive
    Watchdog: Active or inactive
Limit value for short circuit warning: 0.2 - 1 A, adjustable in 0.2 A steps
Restart time after 5 short circuits: 0 – 100 sec.
