The innovative ratchet mechanism enables the "whirling" when the screw offers only low resistance. Changing the direction of the screw is intuitive: If the ring switch is turned to the right, it is screwed to the right, the ring switch is turned to the left and screwed to the left. The ratchet mechanism can be deactivated with 0-position for precise working. The quick change chuck Rapidaptor (suitable for bits with 1/4" outer hexagonal drive according to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3 (ISO 1173) enables very fast bit changes without tools.
