Based on a real truck
The forwarding agency Josef Tress already looks back on a special history, which is closely linked to Wiking-modeling. In 1983, Josef Tress sold his company with the focus on food transport to Jani. Wiking-friends listen to the show immediately and will remember when the Tress-Platform-articulated train started its program in 1984 with Scania-tractor 111. No wonder that the Jani gas transporter also entered the program at Wiking at almost the same time. The logistics history is a good example of the ability of companies to integrate, because after his retirement Paul Jani founded the company Jani in 1967. As a result, Jani Gastransport continually bought other companies to continue its expansion. Betzold made the start, then the forwarding company of Josef Tress followed. It came together that WAS should belong together later. Now there is a reunion with the haulage company Josef Tress, this time with a tank-articulated train, which traveled with the references to the freight forwarders' destinations between Stuttgart, Munich and Bolzano.
True-to-scale and archetypal small model for adult collectors.
