OROID-C5 is driven by the Amlogic S905X5M application processor, which is manufactured in an advanced low-Power semiconductor factory and features a 2.5 GHz quad core Cortex-A55 processor and a modern Mali G310 GPU with 0.85 GHz.
Compared to the OROID-C4, which was equipped with the predecessor processor S905X3, the computing power of the OROID-C5 is approx. 20-25% faster, the 4GB DRAM-interface is considerably improved, the memory bandwidth increases by approx. 30% and the new GPU 3D rendering power is more than twice as high.
The specification of the eMMC host interface has also been changed from HS200 to HS400, leading WAS to more than 50% faster file system access speed.
