Description

The powerfox FLOW module records the revolutions of your meter counter via a magnetic sensor and uses this to calculate your gas consumption in m³.
In the powerfox APP, the gas consumption is then converted into kWh consumption and costs. The FLOW is compatible with BK-G, UG, RS2 and RF1 gas meters.
Adapters for professional and simple installation at the gas meter are supplied for these types.

The FLOW can be integrated into existing powerfox apps. The following information is displayed in the APP:

- Gas consumption in kWh and € (when your gas tariff information is stored in the APP) on an hourly, daily, monthly and yearly basis
- Alarm function when even defined quantities of consumption are exceeded

The combination with other powerfox readout modules for electricity, water and heat is possible: This gives you a complete overview of all energy consumption in one APP!

Information

The powerfox FLOW is compatible with the four most common gas meter ranges BK-G, RF1, RS2 and UG. These designations refer to the design of the counters and the pulse acceptance interface and are common across different manufacturers. You can usually find the type designation on the counter (marked red in the images).
In addition, the counter must have an indication of the pulse value, e.g. "1 imp = 0.01 m³" (marked yellow in the pictures). This information shows that a magnet is installed in the roller counter which generates pulses – otherwise no measurement can take place, even if the design fits. This conversion factor is also required to indicate the correct consumption in the APP.


The powerfox FLOW is not compatible with the following gas meter designs:
- Encoder gas meter

No information about the impulse value / conversion factor

- Cyble gas meter
if necessary Note on the counter: E.g. "Cyble"
Conversion factor 1 trc = 0.01m³ / 0.001m³ … (instead of 1 pulses = …)
Type designation usually contains a "c", e.g. RF1c

Design of adapter receptacle does not fit any powerfox FLOW adapter
