Homematic IP irrigation actuator allows you to control your garden watering system conveniently and intelligently. Control the water flow simply via APP, button or voice command - and at the same time, thanks to the integrated flow measurement, you can keep an eye on water consumption at all times.
Installation
The weather-proof irrigation actuator with protection type IP44 is designed especially for the outdoor use and can be mounted easily at the tap without any additional tools. After inserting the enclosed batteries, the actuator is manually screwed to a 1-inch thread; for water taps with 3/4-inch thread, a suitable adapter is included in the delivery. Then you can check the leak tightness by opening the tap and start a first watering test – comfortably by APP or directly on the device by pressing a button.
Setting
Conveniently store your individual time profiles in the free Homematic IP APP to automate your garden watering processes - reliably and water-saving. In connection with other components, even more complex automation can be realized - such as a weather-dependent control by means of a Homematic IP weather sensor.
Control
The device is operated flexibly via the APP, a button or directly on the device by pressing a button. Alternatively, you can also conveniently control the irrigation actuator via voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
Smart highlight
The built-in sensor accurately measures the current flow rate and total water flow. The recorded values are transmitted to the Homematic IP APP so that consumption can be controlled and irrigation can be controlled as required.
Tip
To prevent frost damage, the irrigation actuator automatically reports temperatures below 5 °C by push message and stops operation. Therefore, remove the device after the season and store it in a protected location.

The Homematic IP smart watering actuator allows automated control of garden watering – conveniently via your smartphone or tablet, no matter whether you're at home or on the road. Individual time profiles can be set up via the Homematic IP APP. Thus, the water flow starts and stops automatically at set times, WAS enables a reliable and water-saving irrigation - even when you are away.
WATER MEASUREMENT FOR MORE OVERVIEW
The built-in sensor measures both the current flow rate and the total water volume. The recorded values are regularly transmitted to the APP in order to enable an exact consumption control and control as required. Measurement data acquisition can also be used to generate and visualize long-term statistics that provide information on consumption per day, week, month or year.
READY TO USE IMMEDIATELY
After inserting the batteries, the device is ready to use immediately – without any additional configuration. The operation is possible either via APP or directly via the integrated button at the device. This allows the water to flow even if it is needed for a short time.
