The LUKA SLTflex fan-type Ideal grinding disc with special zirconium oxide is suitable for soft-seam grinding, rounding off welding seams perfectly and also achieves excellent results on uneven surfaces. The small resin core with M14 thread of the tool enables a large protrusion of the plates, which makes the grinding wheel very flexible. There are hardly any vibrations and the force required while working is low. In addition, damage to the workpiece by the carrier is excluded. By the self-sharpening effect of the zirconium oxide, combined with a high hardness and sharpness of the grinding grain, the tool achieves high deposits and a long service life especially on hard and tough materials such as stainless steel. The fan grinding disc can be mounted directly on the spindle of the machine or on a suitable shaft with external thread. Additional tools, such as support plate or clamping nut, are thus not necessary, WAS means an enormous time saving. Thanks to the multi-layered grinding coating , the grinding blade plate is always so sharp as with the first use. If the upper fins wear, the fresh abrasive surface of the underlying slats is exposed. The tool therefore has a long service life and a constant quality of work. Thanks to the high-quality resin system, the tool does not tear even at high speeds and working temperatures. In addition, environmental protection is taken into account in the production and state-of-the-art technologies with short curing times are used.
