Description
The PHU-series is a single-channel, programmable DC-power supply with multi-range output function, which offers a wide range of voltage and current combinations for more flexibility. The circuit design uses SiC components (silicon carbide) to achieve a high power density that can produce an output power of 15 kW while maintaining a compact size of only 3 U height.
The wide voltage and current range of the PHU-series, together with its high-performance properties, covers a wider range of test applications, such as photovoltaic systems, electric vehicles (EVs) and automotive electronics, etc. The introduction of PHU high-performance DC power supplies extends the GW Instek DC power supply line and provides customers with more comprehensive and integrated solutions.
The AWS (Advanced Web Server) feature allows users to operate devices directly via a web browser without installing complicated software or drivers. This functionality allows users to do tasks more efficiently, save time, and increase productivity.
The unique APC (Adaptive Parallel Connection) function offers parallel adjustment capability so that users can make the best choice according to their requirements. For example, users can choose a 15 kW model and a 10 kW model to combine both and achieve 25 kW capacity within their budget. Up to 10 PHU units can be connected to reach 150 kW without the need for additional power distribution for the controller.
For the industrial interface, the PHU series offers a variety of integrated industrial interface options to meet user requirements, so users do not need to prepare additional interfaces. The available ports include EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus, Profinet and DeviceNet, etc. In addition to the standard built-in programmable sequence function, the PHU series also offers a variety of optional features, including data logger, Maximum Power Point tracking (MPPT), solar array simulator, AH/WH meter and battery simulation to meet the customer's needs.
There are a total of 18 models, comprising 3 power capacities (5 kW/10 kW/15 kW) and 6 voltages (80 V/200 V/500 V/750 V/1000 V/1500 V) to meet all the customer needs.
