In addition to the standard voltage and current measurements, the ammeter also has a network analysis. With this network analysis, the ammeter can be used, for example, to check LAN connections for correct wiring and function. This ammeter can also be used to check the function of telephone connections. If cables cannot be found again, the ammeter also helps here. Thanks to the ammeter's cable finder function, the operator can find the cable he is looking for in no time at all. To do this, the ammeter must be connected to the connection of a line. The ammeter now acts as a transmitter. With the supplied receiver, the desired cable can now be easily found in, for example, a wiring harness or behind walls with the ammeter. To check whether a voltage is present on a line, the ammeter has an NCV (Not Connected Voltage) function. With this function, the ammeter only needs to be held to the line. Both acoustically and visually, the ammeter signals to the operator that there is a voltage on the line. Thanks to this contactless measurement function, the ammeter reduces occupational accidents through electric shocks.
