The splinter protection prevents the edges from tearing out, even with angle cuts. With its help, you can align the guide rail precisely to the target. In order to guarantee this in the long term, it must be replaced regularly.

Tear-off-free cut, the rubber lip pushes the material down directly at the edge of the cut and thus minimizes the tear-out of the material

Since the shatter protection is cut in during the first use, it reflects the exact cut edge again, so that it can be laid exactly at the target pattern
