Description

High transparency and chemical resistance

Filament Spectrum PET-G Premium is one of the most popular 3D printing materials in addition to PLA. A very important advantage of PETG is that it has virtually no shrinkage and low moisture absorption compared to other thermoplastics used in FDM/FFF 3D printing. The parts printed from PET-G retain the stability of the properties for a long service life. Filament Spectrum PET-G Premium combines the most coveted properties of PLA and ABS.

The base material and dyes used in the production of Spectrum PET-G Premium are approved for contact with food.

Apart from other properties that distinguish Spectrum PETG, good creep resistance under constant stress conditions is to be mentioned. This is possible thanks to the connection between the layers of the applied material. This leads to a much lower anisotropy of the mechanical properties in the manufactured parts and means that the mechanical properties in individual production directions vary less strongly than the other thermoplastics intended for 3D printing.

The mechanical properties combined with the chemical resistance of Spectrum PET-G Premium determine the use of this material for the production of components with a relatively high degree of dimensional stability and stability both of the shape and the mechanical properties. These include gears and bearings exposed to static loads in a water environment.
