Spectrum FlameGuard ASA 275 Filament is an advanced material designed for use in desktop 3D printers. Based on the proven ASA 275 formula, the FlameGuard version was specially developed to meet the stringent requirements of UL94 V0 classification for flame protection. This means that the filament or the parts printed with it, when subjected to a vertical burn test, are self-extinguishing within 10 seconds without spreading the fire further.
Like the standard ASA 275 filament, the FlameGuard version also has excellent mechanical properties, including increased flexibility, improved flow characteristics, minimal shrinkage and excellent coating adhesion. It is also easy to print and comparable to Spectrum Premium PLA, WAS enables easy production of large models without delay after cooling.
Spectrum FlameGuard ASA 275 is also resistant to UV radiation and changing weather conditions, WAS makes it an ideal choice for printing prototypes, tools and other parts that require high durability and increased fire protection.
