The ZYPDS-02 USB-PD Trigger Module is an extremely compact and versatile board designed to request defined voltage levels from USB-C Power Delivery Power Supplies (PD). It offers a simple, hardware-based solution for accessing fixed output voltages directly from modern USB-C adapters – without the need for a software configuration or micro-controller control. This makes it an excellent choice for test environments, prototype setups, product development and laboratory applications where stable and clearly defined power supplies are essential. In its standard configuration, the module requests 5 volts from the connected PD power source. By selective removal of one or two integrated resistors, it can be permanently adjusted to require 9 V or 12 V.
