The LINDY 2-port DP MST hub is an ideal solution for expansion or copying of DisplayPort signals to 2 DisplayPort monitors. MST hubs permit the connection of a DP source device, e.g. a computer, laptop or notebook, to 2 DisplayPort displays, whereby it is possible to display contents in many different ways. Signals can be extended across both displays to display large-format tables, for immersive, panoramic gaming experiences, or striking retail digital signage systems. Content can also be shown independently on both displays, allowing WAS to work in a productive multitasking environment. They can also be copied to both displays, such as catering, retail or training.
With resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 30 Hz 4:4:4 8 bit content is displayed quite realistically, Ideal for applications that require high resolutions, such as with graphic design. The compatibility with a large number of graphics cards, including AMD Eyefinity guarantees problem-free playback on several monitors.
This active MST Hub supports DP++. It is not necessary for the source device or graphics card to support DP++ to provide dual-mode signals.
