The safe function of a wall box is essential, whether it is the first mains connection or recurring tests, in order to avoid consequential costs and safety risks. Together with the installation tester, the Wiha Wallbox measuring adapter supports fast, safe and standard-compliant control of Wallboxes directly via the type 2 connection of the station – without the need to plug and unplug them.
The slider can be used to simulate the real vehicle conditions of the Control Pilot: From A - "vehicle not connected" via B - "vehicle connected, not ready to charge" up to C - "electric vehicle connected, ready to charge, ventilation not required". In addition, the CP error "E" is simulated, so that comprehensive Wallbox diagnostics can be performed according to VDE specifications. The integrated LED-display thereby offers clear feedback of the readiness for charging and phase at all times, even without installation tester for a quick check. In combination with the Wiha installation tester typical measurements can be made such as voltage, frequency, phase sequence, different RCD-tests (also for EV-RCDs with 6mA DC fault currents), insulation resistance, low ohm measurements, line and loop impedance.

Safety and function test in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600 (IEC 60364-6) and DIN VDE 0105-100 (EN 50110) for wall speakers according to DIN VDE 0122-1 (IEC 61851-1).
