The Game Kit is an Arcade console with keys and a large display for the CALLIOPE mini. With the Game Kit, children and young people can acquire basic programming skills in a playful way and develop their own games.
The MakeCode Arcade Editor (arcade.makecode.com) allows you to program figures, environments and procedures and to create small and complex game principles - and play on the Game Kit!
Moreover, the GameKit can also be programmed with the help of a loaded extension in MakeCode, so that graphics and measured data can be displayed.
In combination with (integrated) sensors and actuators of the CALLIOPE mini, there are numerous possibilities for interaction and extension of game mechanics.
In this way, the GameKit combines technical learning with practical experiments and at the same time promotes creativity, problem-solving capability and logical thinking.
