Description

This fuse for car hi-fi systems serves as inLine protection device for audio systems in vehicles. It interrupts the power supply as soon as the power exceeds its rated output, in order to prevent damages to the connected devices. The fuse is connected in series with the power supply of the amplifier or the car radio. In the event of sustained overload or short circuit, the fuse element melts, interrupts the circuit and stops the current flow. The AGU-design enables the connection in special fuse holders or inLine-terminals and offers an easy exchange as well as a visual inspection through the transparent casing. Typical applications include protecting car amplifiers and high-performance audio circuits where fast response to overcurrent is required and where space is available for a compact glass fuse.
