The LC connector is a high-performance fiber optic plug for single mode and multimode applications and boasts a insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a reverse flow attenuation of 55 dB. The design of the LCD connector is based on a single fiber ceramic ferrule with 1.25 mm diameter for a fiber-optic cable.
