You can look forward to a high data transfer rate of up to 300 MBit/s when your Edimax EW-7612UAn USB adapter is connected to 802.11n-compatible wireless devices.
The Edimax EW-7612UAn offers extended wireless coverage and a higher data transfer rate. It is equipped with the latest wireless technology, which makes it possible to eliminate dead spots and quadruple its coverage. The EW-7612UAn USB adapter is compatible with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standard and can transfer data at up to 300 MBit/s when it connected to wireless devices according to the 802.11n standard. The wireless technology in the Edimax EW-7612UAn USB adapter also extends the wireless signal range and offers more reliable wireless connections than conventional wireless networks according to IEEE802.11b/g.
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a new technology that is intended to provide a secure wireless network quickly and easily. If the wireless device you wish to connect supports WPS, the Edimax EW-7612UAn USB adapter builds a secure, encrypted WPA data connection. You only need to press the button and you're ready to work. The Edimax EW-7612UAn USB adapter supports both hardware (key) and software WPS (website).
The Edimax EW-7612UAn includes an EZmax configuration wizard available in 16 languages, which will help you to connect your new EW-7612UAn USB adapter to your wireless network.
The EW-7612UAn not only has a built-in high-gain preamplifying 3 dBi antenna, but also a free wired USB cable to improve the wireless performance. If the EW-7612UAn is used with the wired USB cable, the wireless performance increases without additional costs.
