Fire and flame! Signal red fire station based on an original model in Oberndorf am Neckar, consisting of a two-storey head building with administration and social rooms as well as an adjoining hall building with four boxes for fire engines and for use as a workshop or wash hall.
Markant administrative wing: in the horizontal rectangular building with roofed terrace and modern window bands, the glazed building corner with folded concrete staircase at the entrance to the control centre creates a lively interplay of light and shade.
Transparent vehicle hall: on the second flat-roof building, where heavy fire-fighting vehicles move in and out every day, generous daylight enters the halls through glazed folding doors. Door openings to the front and rear allow the use of the FALLER Car System.
