The Verbatim Store'n' Save USB 3.0 desktop hard drive offers a powerful memory with USB 3.0 "SuperSpeed" interface. USB 3.0 offers data transfer rates up to ten times faster than USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed), enabling lightning-fast data transfer on the go.
The Store 'n' Save drive can be flattened or side-mounted to take up as little desktop space as possible. When you turn on the Store'n' Save drive, the Verbatim welcome screen* appears, which contains shortcuts to the software, user manuals, support information and your drive directory. (* depending on the running PC operating system)
The drive comes with Nero Backup* software pre-installed. This allows you to plan, compress, encrypt and ensure that you never lose important files.
Furthermore, Verbatim hard drives come with "Green Button" energy-saving software. "Green Button" prevents the drive from spinning when not in use. This increases efficiency and saves energy.
There are 3 sleep mode options. Interrupt mode can be set after 10 minutes of use or in steps of 10 minutes to 120 minutes each. To immediately interrupt the rotation of the drive, double-click the "Green Button" icon on the desktop. Alternatively, you can set the drive to "Never Suspend the disk".
