Description

Eleven charging programs are available: 12V-2A, 12V-5A, 12V-10A, 24V-2A, 24V-5A, 12V-AGM/Frost-2A, 12V-AGM/Frost-5A, 12V-AGM/Frost-10A, 24V-AGM/Frost-2A, 24V-AGM/Frost-5A, 13.6V-5A (continuous voltage). With the frost mode, the charging process is adapted to the low temperatures. The AGM mode adapts the charging process especially for AGM batteries. Fully automatic battery charging takes place in six charging steps. 1. soft-start, 2. break up of sulphation, 3. readiness for charging, 4. charging up to 80%, 5. charging up to 100%, 6. trickle charging . An LED display provides information about the respective charging step, charge status, charging mode, current, full charge or faulty connection. Modern safety technology with reverse polarity protection, overheating protection, overload protection and short-circuit protection protects you and the device against incorrect operation. For use on large batteries with high charging currents, a fan is installed for cooling. A highlight is the selectable 13.6V continuous voltage output, which can be used as a voltage source and voltage holder when changing batteries to prevent the loss of important electronic settings when changing batteries.
