SlimEdge, smart and space-saving design
A modern LCD module with an extremely narrow edge allows an extremely compact housing. The edge around the image measures only 15 mm at the side. Power supply unit and signal interfaces are optimally integrated into the device.
Saving and environmentally friendly
The S1934's mercury-free backlight with economical yet bright white LEDs is particularly striking. It consumes only 9 watts for typical use. This reduces energy costs and CO2 emissions.
Excellent image quality
The resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 250 cd/qm result in first-class image quality with clear graphics and structures as well as sharp text contours. Whether you sit in the middle or to the side in front of the screen, whatever image area you are viewing - an evenly high contrast of colors and grayscales is maintained up to the corners at a high level.
Auto-EcoView
An EcoView sensor measures the light of the environment and adjusts the brightness of the screen fully automatically. In bright lighting, the image brightness is increased or reduced in dark lighting. Manual brightness control is also possible. The EcoView index serves as an orientation for how environmentally friendly the respective setting is.
Precise colour control
The colour reproduction is controlled via an internal 10-bit look-up table (LUT). This allows for a more accurate gradation of color information than with otherwise common 8-bit LUTs. White points of 5000 K, 6500 K, and 9300 K can be set via a color temperature control. In addition, the color saturation (gain) for RGB colors can be set separately.
Contrast enhancement (fine contrast)
This function offers different display modes with different presets for brightness, color temperature and gamma. At the touch of a button, it offers ideal visibility for office applications, the Internet and images (sRGB). Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed documents and reduces the amount of blue light. In addition, a DICOM mode for radiological images and two user modes for individual settings are available.
Digital and analog inputs
One DisplayPort, DVI-D and DSub input each allow the simultaneous connection of two computers. All signals are automatically synchronized.
Audio capable
Loudspeakers and headphone jack are unobtrusively integrated into the housing.
