Description

The CARSON drive concept for TAMIYA® Trucks on a scale of 1:14
Convert your TAMIYA 2- or 3-axle TAMIYA tractor into an all-wheel drive all-rounder with our self-locking axles. The components can be easily replaced as they are mounted on the existing mounting points. A huge advantage of these axles is that no additional space is required for a shift servo (linkage and Bowden cables), as this locks automatically in the event of a loss of traction. Officially licensed by ZF Friedrichshafen AG.

The axle is equipped with a self-locking differential and can be built with or without through drive, both shafts and housing cover are included. In the event of a loss of traction, the differential locks automatically and generates 100% traction. A major advantage of this drive axle is that NO shift servos, Bowden cables and linkage are required for the differential locks, which also benefits the clarity and space available in the chassis. The axle components are housed in a heavy-duty reinforced plastic axle housing and are ideally equipped for any construction site application.
The 2-speed manual transmission, the 2-speed transfer case, a driven front axle, one or two rear axles and the respective 4x4 or 6x6 drive shaft set are required for retrofitting 2- and 3-axle tractors.
