The GP-101ST Gigabit PoE (Power overEthernet) splitter delivers both data and power via a single Ethernet cable to devices that no PoEFast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet can use. For example, with network cameras and WLAN access points and that without the use of additional, external power sources. With the GP-101ST, data can be transmitted over a distance of up to 100 meters at gigabit speed between the PSE (Power Source Equipment) and the PoESplitter. The GP-101ST supports 802.3at/af, ensuring compatibility with other 802.3af PoE-enabled injectors or switches. Using the practical PoE function of the GP-101ST eliminates the cost and need for another Ethernet-enabled device, such as a WLAN access point or a network camera. Otherwise, they would have to be placed near a power outlet or additional power cables would have to be laid. For flexible network connectivity, the compact GP-101ST can be mounted up to 100 meters from a power source, ceiling or wall.
