The BBC Micro:bit is a single board computer that was originally developed for educational purposes only. Due to the great demand the calculator is now also available on the free market. The mini calculator with a size of 4 x 5 cm is aimed at beginners as well as experienced hobbyists.
The board is already equipped with a 5x5 LED matrix for output as well as a magnetometer and a 3-axis acceleration sensor. It also features Bluetooth®, two programmable buttons and 20 input/output pins.
This means that you can start with your first projects right away without having to buy additional electronics. On Micro:bit's own website you will find support in the form of tutorials and exercises.
