Disadvantages: beschriftung, kennzeichnung

Ist ein Schaltwandler oder DC/DC-Wandler, der in das Layout eines 7805 Spannungsreglers paßt. Der Vorteil ist, daß bei höherem Strom (1..1,5A) und höherer Eingangsspannung (10..36V) die resultierende Verlustleistung nicht in Wärme an einen Kühlkörper abgegeben wird. Dieses Teil bleibt kalt! Nachteilig ist die Restwelligkeit. Man sollte bei höhreren Anforderungen durchaus beidseitig Kondensatoren vorsehen. Nachteilig ist die unzureichende Beschriftung. Man erkennt nicht auf den ersten Blick wo Pin 1 ist und um welche Spannungsversion es sich handelt.
