Description

Protect your sensitive information from any unauthorised access by encrypting your external HHD using this docking station. Afterwards, disk use is limited to this particular docking station and requires a user-defined PIN code.

This is how it works
The dock allows you to back up sensitive information on 6.4 cm (2.5”) and 8.9 cm (3.5”) SATA hard disks without enclosures. Changing disks is easy. Use an USB 3.0 cable (included) to connect the disk to the dock. Also features an LED indicator for power supply and data transfer progress. Disconnect and retrieve the drive by pressing EJECT.

Use the dock to backup your data on external drives. Nothing beats data securly locked away in strong boxes, safes, or vaults.

Stylish brushed aluminium enclosure
The aluminium enclosure ensures appropriate heat dissipation preventing the HHD from overheating, keeping it fully operational. Besides, the brushed finish is a real eye-catcher.

Boost your data transfer rates by using USB 3.0 to connect a wide range of peripherals such as external hard drives or digital cameras to your PC. Rates of up to 5 Gbps enable the transfer of huge data files such as HD movies or hi-res photos within a few secords. From now on, you've got 10x the speed that you normally get from USB 2.0. Goes without saying that the station is also backwards-compatible with earlier USB versions.

Information

Once encrypted, hard drives can only be read from renkforce Encryption docking stations. Reading to docking stations of other manufacturers is not possible.
