Description

The Homematic IP window and door contact for concealed installation discreetly monitors doors and windows within the Homematic IP Smart Home system. The 15 mm flat sensor is glued to the inside of the frame in a few simple steps, where it reliably detects the condition of the window with the aid of a light barrier. Once installed, the window and door contact enables the room temperature to be automatically lowered during ventilation or the Homematic IP siren to be triggered in the event of unauthorised access by third parties. A built-in sabotage contact reliably detects unwanted manipulation or disassembly of the sensor. The Homematic IP App also displays the current status at any time. Two micro-batteries supply the sensor with energy for up to five years.
