Description
The ETHSW50K is a very compact, slim and robust Industrial Ethernet Switch with 5 x 10/100BaseT(X). 10BaseT according to IEEE 802.3, 100BaseTX according to IEEE802.3u and Flow Control (Ethernet data flow control) according to IEEE802.3x are supported. The compact IP30 certified plastic enclosure is designed for use in harsh and demanding industrial environments where large temperature differences and physical loads are not unknown.
The ETHSW50K is an unmanaged and plug-and-play switch with a non-blocking/wirespeed Layer 2 switching engine. The Store and Forward operating mode ensures secure transmission. The switchable Flooding Storm Control function protects against unwanted allocation of the available transmission rate by Broad or Multicast data frames.
The switch has a redundant voltage input and a fault relay for signalling a fault. Thus, in the event of a power supply failure or power supply failure, trouble-free operation and direct fault detection can be guaranteed
. By implementing IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, the energy consumption of ports in idle mode can be significantly reduced.
